How is the man with a van service priced?
Prices are based on route distance, loading and unloading time, van size, and whether you add a helper. All costs are displayed upfront before you book — no hidden fees.
Can I book for the same day?
Yes — we often have same-day and next-day availability. Enter your postcodes for a live price and nearby drivers will respond quickly.
What's the difference between van sizes?
A medium van suits a few items or a studio flat. A large van handles a 1–2 bed flat. A Luton is best for 2–3 bed homes or larger loads.
Do I need a helper or a two-man team?
For a few items, a single driver is fine. For full flat or house moves — especially with stairs or upper floors — booking a two-man or three-man team makes the job safer and faster.
What if my job takes longer than expected?
If loading or unloading takes longer than booked, the extra time is charged at your driver's quoted hourly rate. Half Day covers up to 4 hours and Full Day up to 8 hours.
Can you collect from storage units or IKEA?
Absolutely. Just provide the collection address when booking and let us know of any access restrictions. We'll collect and deliver straight to your door.
